Many of us believe that eating fruit simply involves buying it, cutting it, and popping it into our mouths. However, it is not as simple as we may think. It is crucial to understand how and when to eat fruit. What is the correct way of eating fruit? It involves avoiding eating fruit after meals and instead enjoying it on an empty stomach.
Eating fruit in this way can play a significant role in detoxifying your system and providing you with ample energy for weight loss and daily activities. For example, if you eat two slices of bread followed by a slice of fruit, the fruit is ready to pass through the stomach into the intestines. However, this process is hindered, causing the entire meal to ferment and turn acidic. When the fruit interacts with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil. Therefore, it is best to eat fruit on an empty stomach or before meals to prevent issues such as bloating, burping, or other digestive discomfort.
It is a misconception that certain fruits, like oranges and lemons, are acidic. In reality, all fruits become alkaline when digested in our bodies. Dr. Herbert Shelton's research confirms this fact. Mastering the correct way to eat fruit holds the key to beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness, and maintaining a normal weight. When consuming fruit juice, opt for fresh juice over canned or heated juice. Avoid cooked fruits as they lose their nutrients through cooking. It is better to eat the whole fruit rather than just the juice. If you choose to drink juice, sip it slowly to allow it to mix with your saliva before swallowing, maximizing the nutritional benefits.
Additionally, consider embarking on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. By consuming only fruits during this period, your friends may notice a radiant improvement in your appearance.
