Below is my journal of an experience of swimming near to dolphins.

Daytime:
I taught my first real piano lesson yesterday—to a friend eager to learn. Then I spent a few hours painting and decorating my house. I felt the pull to get outside—to feel free.
An hour before sunset:
Tired, but not exhausted, I ran to the park, following my intuition. It began to rain intermittently. I stood under a tree for a while, but soon wanted to keep moving. So, I ran toward the sea, storing my coat and jacket on the way as the rain eased.
Around sunset:
As I ran, I found my rhythm and felt warm by the time I reached the shore. After a brief moment of thought—but little hesitation—I walked in fully clothed until I found the Archimedean point—and after checking for safety, dove into a wave. I’m still not sure if it was inspiration or just the lazy logic of skipping a shower and laundry.
My skin was refreshed by the cold, and I experienced Yin fully before emerging—like a buffalo. After swimming, I practiced grounding Qigong with my feet in the water: Bear Walk, Pebble in a Pond, Gathering Qi.
Two minutes later, dolphins appeared—right in front of me. A couple swam close to shore, where I’d been paddling moments before. I wonder—does that count as swimming with dolphins?
About ten crossed the bay as I continued “Lift the Sky” Qigong. A few more followed, as if to remind me of the invisible threads connecting all life.
Running home, my energy felt reset—not only from the boost in circulation but also from the joy of seeing dolphins up close. Reflecting on these spontaneous yet aligned events, I thought about Daoist principles. Perhaps this is wuwei—the Tao flowing through me. The Tao, flowing not through effort, but through presence. I didn’t plan any of this, yet somehow my energy was guiding me. I simply followed intuition—and it led me to synchronicity.
Oh—and somehow, the piano lesson money (two fivers in my pocket) stayed perfectly dry, even though I was in the water for five minutes.
